"Stoned Ape" Bar Soap
With “Stoned Ape” bar soap we highlight Terrance McKenna’s Stoned Ape Theory, hypothesizing that our early human ancestors may have ingested mushrooms, containing psilocybin, which over generations, lead to rapid growth in both brain development & intelligence. Continual consumption of these mushrooms are believed to be linked with the explosion of early art, language, & technologies.
We utilized one of our top base oil mixtures and replaced the water with Chaga Mushroom Tea. Chaga mushrooms contain both anti-microbial & anti-bacterial properties, perfect for a bar soap. We finished these bars off with Spearmint, Peppermint, & Tea Tree essential oils to not only add a fantastic minty / earthy scent, but more bacteria fighting properties.
